Events in Cyprus

Well here we are with a full review on yesterdays event at RED.

As I said in the short review, we missed some of NADIR'S songs, but judging by the remaining songs we heard it wasnt a bad performance, with some good vocals from the female singer which unfortunately were drowned by excessive bass.
Track: The cover track "Οι Ψυχές και οι Αγάπες" (Β.Παπακωνσταντίνου) was good, but the vocals needed some work.
Rating: 6.5/10

Second were ΤΡΥΠΙΕΣ ΣΗΜΑΙΕΣ, which initially gave a good performance, with excellent Πυξ Λαξ cover tracks, but after some technical problems their performance fell somewhat, which is a shame as they performed excellently in previous events.
Track: Cover track, "Ενα παιδί περπατάει με τα Χέρια"(Πυξ Λαξ) was done very well, with a nice twist of their own style.
Rating: 7/10


Third were DEMENTOR, with quite a good show, sporting their first song with backup vocals from Winter's Verge singer George. Overall good guitar riffs, good vocals and a nice song of their own at the end.
Tracks: Cover Tracks "The Trooper" (Iron Maiden), "Seek and Destroy"(Metallica) where done very well driving the crowd crazy!
Rating: 8/10

Fourth were WINTER'S VERGE, giving us as usual an excellent performance and a great show, with great vocals from George. I have a full track listing as I know the drummer's brother ;p

Tracks: All the songs were great! "Warriors of the World" (Manowar), "Eternal Damnation" (Winter's Verge), "End of this Chapter" (Sonata Arctica) and "Smoke on the Water" (Deep Purple) were done brilliantly, especially "Smoke on the Water".
Rating: 10/10

Last but not least were AMNHSIA, which as I said before were a pleasant surprise! What can I say they were great! Excellent vocals, brilliant guitar, keyboard, drums everything! These guys covered everything from Κατσιμίχα to Πασχαλίδη!
Tracks: As I said, all songs were excellent, some of the best being "Πηνελόπη" (Μ.Πασχαλίδης), "Καλό Ταξίδι"(Χ&Π Κατσιμίχα), "Dont Worry"(Χ&Π Κατσιμίχα), "Eμενα οι Φίλοι μου Είναι"(Magic De Spell), "Μικρός Τιτανικός" (Λ. Μαχαιρίτσας).
